Practise division sums
Division and long division
In year three, children start with simple division problems, with the divisor and quotient being smaller than 10. Long division is introduced in year four, with the divisor of the number being a single digit. In year five, long division is expanded upon, with the divisor of the number being two or three digits, and with possible remainders. Long division is repeated in year six and seven.
The website was developed to help primary school students learn arithmetic. By offering clear maths problems, numeracy can be practised both in class and at home. Parents and children can practise together, for instance.
The exercises have been divided per year and per arithmetic skill. Through a variety of exercises you can practise primary school division skills, which you also learn in year four, five, six, and seven.
