SpuQ Addition description
Here you can practise addition sums at different levels, together with you personal mascot, Spuq. 4 different levels are available. You'll be able to practise sums of 10, 20, 50 and up to 100. This way, you'll be able to start with simpler sums and gradually increase the difficulty level. For the levels up to 50 and 100, you can choose between easy and difficult sums. The menu shows you examples of the problems you will have to solve. The easier sums always include a multiple of 10 or a number below 10. After you've finished the question, Spuq will show you whether you got the answer right or wrong. If you got it wrong, you'll get another chance of course.
In primary school (and afterwards!), addition sums are just as important to general numeracy as tables. You can practise the problems in class but also at home. For the best results, try practising regularly, 15 minutes at a time for example.
