On this page you can learn subtraction up to 1,000 by doing different exercises. The five-step plan lets you earn your diploma quickly with handy maths exercises. Subtraction sums in columns are an important method for learning subtraction of large numbers. You can do exercises such as multiple choice, dragging, or entering the correct answer and earn medals.
When you think you've practised enough, you can move on to step 5. The fifth step is about testing whether you have mastered subtraction sums up to 1,000 and earning a diploma. You'll have five minutes to solve ten problems about subtraction correctly.
Examples of sums you'll have to solve for the diploma:
- 891 – 278 = 613
- 451 – 31 = 420
